Reportage Lifestyle Photography for Royal Marines

(above) This is me feeling rather out-of-place and somewhat inadequate, on the fabled grounds of the Royal Marines Commando Training Centre in Exmouth UK. A place where every Royal Marine since its inception has trained and graduated from.

Imposter syndrome rapidly subsided as I had a job to do: capture, fly on the wall style, an hour-long competition ‘The Gibraltar Cup’, where Royal Marines Cadets from all over the country come to compete for the top-level win, having succeeded in their local divisions and competitions.

Quite a physically demanding job, as I had to constantly get myself both among and in front of the action (which I had no control over) to capture the candid-but-commercial style of imagery the client needs, and within only the space of 6x10min ‘sprints’.
